Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Time Administrator to join our team at the Port of Seattle. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our employees and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll data, including time entry, leave requests, and payroll cycles
  • Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements, labor laws, and regulations
  • Provide expert guidance on payroll policies and procedures to employees and management
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics to support payroll decision-making
  • Collaborate with HR and management to resolve payroll-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a medium to large organization
  • 1+ year of experience interpreting collective bargaining agreements related to payroll
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of timekeeping systems, such as Peoplesoft Financials and Concur expense reporting
