Senior Payroll Administrator

As a Senior Payroll Administrator at Ad Hoc LLC, you will play a critical role in managing payroll functions, developing and analyzing payroll documents, and ensuring adherence to organizational processes and policies.
With minimal oversight from leadership, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions, developing and analyzing payroll documents, and ensuring adherence to organizational processes and policies.
You will serve as an experienced individual contributor within a team, with the expectation that you will further develop your leadership, guidance, and mentoring skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll functions, including verifying deductions, calculating overtime, vacation payouts, workers' compensation, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable contracts, laws, and local and federal regulations, as well as company pay policies
- Maintaining related records, files tax reports, and deduction reports, processes involuntary deductions such as garnishments, and prepares special reports for management
- Auditing pay records and investigating variances
- Working closely with technical departments to implement process improvements, test system changes, and lead special projects within the payroll department
- Offering suggestions, advice, and solutions regarding payroll processing procedures
