About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Electrical Engineering to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead our electrical engineering efforts and drive innovation in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of electrical engineers to design, develop, and implement high-energy pulsed-power circuits and low-voltage support systems.
  • Accelerate the development of custom semiconductor devices and grid tie-in hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve generator performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap to mass-production, optimizing for scalability and cost.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience and 5 years of engineering management experience.
  • Proven track record of taking multidisciplinary problems from concept to design, manufacture, test, and deployment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of electrical disciplines, including silicon design and pulsed power.
  • Ability to apply engineering first-principles and analytical rigor to challenging problems.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary: $220,000 - $270,000 USD.
