Overview:

This role requires a multifaceted, collaborative approach to orchestrate, design, develop, and validate intricate lifecycle balanced systems and solutions. The candidate will assess client and operational requirements to delineate and synchronize system performance specifications, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Key responsibilities include conducting various analyses to enhance the overall system architecture and performing evaluations for cost-effectiveness, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, and other quality factors to guarantee mission accomplishment.

The engineer will develop, maintain, and identify enhancements for the planning, organization, execution, and oversight of requirements management processes, risk management, and technology readiness assessments. Additionally, the role involves resolving interdisciplinary technical challenges.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects.

Engagement with relevant stakeholders is crucial to ensure clarity across systems engineering teams regarding certification and integration at the aircraft level.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate with multiple aircraft systems including Environmental Controls, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, and Avionics Systems.
  • Implement best practices in systems engineering and drive process enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance for all systems engineering initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.
  • Work with minimal supervision.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Familiarity with Critical Path Methodology.
  • Proficient in database management tools.
  • Knowledge of design concepts and techniques.
  • Experience with certification and qualification processes.
  • Strong systems thinking capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Boeing systems.
  • Background in Systems Engineering.
  • Some exposure to production environments.
  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding of integrated systems.
  • Sound engineering judgment.
  • Experience with requirements tracing and engineering processes.
