Job Overview

The HR Administrator plays a vital role in delivering administrative assistance across all sectors of the Human Resources Division. This position is dedicated to supporting employees from a relations standpoint while executing various administrative responsibilities. The HR Administrator also guarantees that all staff and volunteers are compliant with necessary training requirements upon hiring and on an annual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, manage, and monitor mandatory employee training, including onboarding and yearly company-wide sessions based on funding sources, ensuring completion within specified timelines.
  • Serve as a certified trainer for First Aid/CPR within the agency.
  • Arrange and conduct annual and new hire First Aid/CPR training sessions.
  • Coordinate and schedule Medication Administration training for both new hires and recertification in collaboration with the Service Department and relevant regional offices.
  • Input completed training renewals into all HRIS and training systems for tracking purposes.
  • Oversee the online learning platform (Relias), ensuring all staff meet training obligations, including annual requirements, with up-to-date evidence of completion.
  • Facilitate drug screening and reference checks for applicants, volunteers, and employees as necessary.
  • Conduct new hire orientations as required, serving as the primary contact for all newcomers and training them on essential system usage.
  • Enter all new hires into the HRIS system and update employee records as needed.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and other HR-related information, ensuring compliance with audits and updates as necessary.
  • Ensure all personnel files are comprehensive and ready for audits as required by funding sources.
  • Assist with personnel and payroll audits.
  • Support all internal and external HR inquiries or requests.
  • Generate and submit reports on general HR activities as requested.
  • Stay informed about the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Maintain and update necessary regulatory postings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Compliance and HR Officer.
Qualifications

Education:

  • A.A. degree in human resources, business, or social services, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or training is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid automobile insurance.

Competencies:

  • Proven ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in desktop software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
