Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate a range of human resource functions to deliver effective HR services for the designated location within the O-Ring and Engineered Seals (OES) division. This position necessitates an individual who can serve as an employee advocate, change facilitator, and strategic partner while ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and propose specialized projects that require a thorough understanding of HR processes and their strategic implications for the organization.
  • Support the management team and production staff through the successful implementation of HR programs, including talent development, succession planning, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Actively participate in the site leadership team to address operational challenges and business issues.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business to provide effective advice and contributions.
  • Oversee all recruitment activities, including talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and divisional requirements throughout all staffing activities.
  • Manage performance evaluation and career development initiatives for the manufacturing workforce.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary resource for employee inquiries and concerns, actively engaging with personnel to address their needs.
  • Conduct investigations as necessary and propose solutions to site leadership.
  • Co-lead engagement initiatives at the site, ensuring effective community interaction and high participation rates.
  • Administer relevant company policies, ensuring employees are well-informed and receive regular training.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including travel arrangements and event planning.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Experience: 1-2 years in a related manufacturing environment, with 1-2 years of HR generalist experience
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with PeopleSoft is a plus.
