Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Naxos Taverna and Oyster Bar at Red Rock. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the repair or replacement of any damaged kitchen equipment or furnishings.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Sous Chefs to implement menu updates and operational changes.
  • Address all dietary restrictions and allergy concerns with precision.
  • Guarantee that all dishes meet the highest quality standards and are delivered promptly.
  • Design and plan the menu, including the presentation of each dish.
  • Coordinate kitchen staff and provide assistance as needed.
  • Ensure that back-of-house staff accurately execute orders from the POS system and follow directions from the expeditor.
  • Oversee the execution of regular service, catering, take-out, delivery, and all events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in fine dining and high-volume establishments is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all menu items and the venue.
  • Ability to uphold expediting standards.
  • Practical understanding of the responsibilities of all supervised kitchen staff.
  • Must possess a valid Manager's Food Handler Safety Card in Nevada.
  • Willingness to assist with cleaning tasks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
