Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of desserts, including pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats
  • Ensure that all desserts meet our high standards for quality and presentation
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new dessert recipes and menus
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive dining experience

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Cook in a 4/5-star hotel or restaurant
  • Food handling certificate
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plus
