Key Responsibilities- Prepare and finalize dishes across various kitchen stations.
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness and sanitation protocols in line with health regulations.
- Support the head chef in executing production tasks effectively.
- Label and date all food items accurately to uphold safety standards.
- Maintain precise inventory records and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Inform the supervising chef if tasks cannot be completed within the designated timeframe.
- Proficient in English with the ability to read and follow recipes; knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of culinary experience in a comparable role, ideally within a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation practices, knife skills, and the capability to lead and inspire kitchen staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Effective organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain necessary licenses or work permits for the role.
- Experience in high-volume pastry production is essential.
- Culinary education or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid health card is required.
