Position Overview:

As a Guest Services Telephone Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all incoming communications from guests through various channels including telephone, email, and chat. Your role is crucial in ensuring that guest inquiries, requests, and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the telephone switchboard efficiently, handling wake-up calls and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Accurately log and relay messages, ensuring that all guest requests are documented and followed up on.
  • Provide guests with comprehensive information regarding room features, property amenities, and local attractions.
  • Assist in processing room service orders and manage transactions through the point-of-sale system.
  • Support guests in accessing internet services and entertainment options available in their rooms.

Professional Standards:

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times. Ensure the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.


Guest Interaction:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating their service needs and assisting individuals with disabilities. Communicate clearly and professionally, developing positive relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to read and verify information in various formats, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No prior related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience necessary.
  • Licenses or certifications are not required.
