Currently, The Cliffs Hotel & Spa is experiencing continuous growth and is seeking a dedicated, efficient, and motivated part-time Guest Services Reservation Specialist. This role is essential in delivering a personalized service experience to our guests, and we look forward to the possibility of welcoming you to our team.

Position Overview:

The Guest Services Reservation Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service with a personalized approach for each guest. Key responsibilities include managing group and third-party reservation requests, as well as providing administrative support to the Reservations Supervisor. Duties encompass booking reservations and handling incoming calls for the reservations department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Able to commit to 3 shifts per week
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and scheduling systems
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Maestro PMS is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Effective communication and sales skills regarding products and services
  • Proficient in multitasking and quick information recall
  • Maintains a positive and friendly demeanor during all shifts
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues across departments
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Responsible Beverage Service Training and ABC Exam Certification or willingness to complete training upon hiring

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8 hours)
  • Able to sit for prolonged durations (4-8 hours)
  • Capable of lifting small packages (up to 40 pounds)
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
