Position Overview

As a Guest Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and requests whenever feasible.
2. Pre-register guests and prepare necessary key packets.
3. Organize and manage check-in and pre-registration processes for groups.
4. Monitor and accommodate requests for room changes and check-outs, communicating updates to relevant staff.
5. Confirm reservations and handle cancellations effectively.
6. Review out-of-order rooms on a daily basis and ensure accurate billing for guests.
7. Maintain guest documentation and paperwork meticulously.
8. Facilitate all guest check-ins and check-outs, activating room keys and securing valid payments.
9. Identify and address any over-commitments and perform duplicate reservation checks.
10. Generate daily reports and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with their requests.

Guest Interaction:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards. Anticipate and address service needs, providing assistance to individuals with disabilities and expressing genuine appreciation to guests.

Communication Skills:
Utilize clear and professional language when interacting with others. Prepare and review written documents with accuracy and completeness, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Collaboration:
Coordinate tasks and collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals. Serve as a role model within the department and foster positive working relationships.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Enter and locate information using computers and/or POS systems. Lift and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
Licenses or Certifications: None necessary.
