The Vice President of Regional Operations is responsible for defining and executing the comprehensive operational strategy across various business segments, products, and infrastructure within the designated market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, manage, and lead management teams with an emphasis on continuous enhancement and development. Provide timely and constructive evaluations and oversee disciplinary actions.
  • Encourage, motivate, and uplift the team by fostering a positive and thriving work environment.
  • Oversee daily administrative, financial, and personnel operations for the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop a market sales strategy focusing on service diversification and value propositions.
  • Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic vision for the market; develop and enforce policies, practices, and standards to ensure operational excellence and the execution of organizational strategies.
  • Review and approve financial reports, cost estimates, and staffing needs.
  • Actively participate in sales presentations, networking events, and other initiatives to enhance brand visibility within the market.
  • Work alongside executive leadership to set and achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with other executives to meet company objectives.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and systems to optimize resource and material utilization.
  • Integrate productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve anticipated returns on investment.
  • Engage with key external and internal stakeholders to cultivate relationships that lead to improved business outcomes, enhanced client retention, and organic growth.
  • Ensure that quality standards are established, monitored, and achieved.
  • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to required safety protocols, inspections, and key performance indicators.
  • Manage multiple workflows concurrently.
  • Facilitate decision-making across various teams within the organization.
  • Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of an executive team.
  • Proficient in project management, problem-solving techniques, and clear communication of ideas and instructions.
  • Adept at directing the activities and operations of others, including those involving hazardous situations.
  • Ability to analyze business challenges and frame them as data and analytics problems solvable through standard approaches using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Strong relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Positive mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting demands.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, self-driven, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of applicable city, state, and federal laws and regulations affecting business operations.
  • Minimal travel requirements, with potential increases as responsibilities expand.
