Job Overview:

The Channel Sales Manager is tasked with crafting and executing a robust channel sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in channel sales management, a demonstrated history of establishing successful partner networks, and the capability to cultivate strong relationships with channel partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a detailed channel sales strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business goals. Identify and prioritize target markets and potential channel partners.
  • Partner Recruitment and Oversight: Seek out and onboard new channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and value-added partners, to broaden the company's market reach. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing partners to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Sales Target Management: Establish ambitious sales objectives for the channel sales team and partners. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies to ensure revenue targets are met or surpassed.
  • Channel Partner Enablement: Equip channel partners with training, resources, and support to deepen their understanding of the company's offerings and empower them to effectively engage with end customers.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor actions, and industry developments related to channel sales. Utilize this information to identify new business opportunities and refine the channel sales strategy as necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and effective channel sales strategy.
  • Sales Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on channel sales performance and analytics to senior management, providing insights into achievements and challenges.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the channel sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize sales efforts and achieve a favorable return on investment (ROI).

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be located within Atlanta, GA and possess the ability to travel.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Channel Sales and Business Development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Food Service Distribution or Hospitality Software sectors.
  • Proficient in Channel or Key Accounts Sales.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating and guiding the channel sales team and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to foster strong partner relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and leverage business opportunities through channel partnerships.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hardware distribution is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or business administration.
  • Sales experience with extensive knowledge of hospitality technology and the product lifecycle in restaurants is preferred.
