Position Overview:

We are pleased to offer a position as a Regional Accounts Manager at Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation. In this vital role, you will be tasked with driving new business development within the Metal Sales IMPACT Buildings initiative across your designated region. Your primary focus will be on strengthening partnerships with pre-engineered metal building manufacturers, builders, distributors, and dealers. This position requires a solid background in sales and business development, particularly with large accounts at both regional and national levels.

This dynamic role involves close collaboration with the IMPACT Program Sales Manager to formulate and implement effective strategies for the program. Additionally, as the Regional Accounts Manager, you will partner with Metal Sales Territory Sales Managers and Commercial Industrial Architecture Account Managers to enhance growth within existing accounts. You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining corporate relationships that foster loyalty towards the Metal Sales IMPACT program.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan aimed at increasing IMPACT sales revenue and profit margins annually.
  • Meet or exceed established growth targets for sales revenue and margins.
  • Engage regularly with sales teams, operations, ACT software team, and clients.
  • Oversee and coordinate support roles within the IMPACT program.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage critical data related to key accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities.
  • Establish KPIs and generate monthly sales reports to track progress.
  • Stay informed on market trends and activities, providing weekly updates.
  • Collaborate with regional sales management teams to identify growth opportunities and build relationships with key accounts.
  • Train, mentor, and guide sales and operations teams on the specific needs of their customer base. Conduct sales training and promotional activities.
  • Assist in pricing management and communication with ACT Software, sales teams, and clients.
  • Build strong customer relationships and closely monitor product requirements.
  • Analyze competitive scenarios, working with Sales management to create and execute effective strategies for market expansion and protection.
  • Ensure compliance with travel and entertainment budget guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the IMPACT Program Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales.

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with the IMPACT Program Sales Manager.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate Program Technical Specialists and other support roles.
  • Lead communication with Operations, Sales, and Marketing regarding all Regional Account Activities.
  • Provide leadership in a high-performance environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of commercial sales experience in the metal buildings industry.
  • Five years of business development experience focused on large National Accounts.
  • Two years of experience with proven sales success in IMPACT or similar building packages.
  • Ability to conduct presentations using the ACT software program.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Demonstrated success in securing significant, multi-location accounts.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong emphasis on customer service.
