POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
Must live within 45 minutes from home to Customers Site.
Hours - 6AM - 5 PM

Konecranes is looking for a qualified individual with prior crane experience to fulfill the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the scheduled customer inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. Our employees operate in a safety-first environment, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols, including those set by clients. In this capacity, you will conduct inspections and provide prompt quotes to clients as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute the established schedule of required customer inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely completion or making alternative arrangements as needed. Guarantee that inspections and maintenance are performed within the designated hours while maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly. Conduct inspections in accordance with established standards and current service product parameters. Document findings and make recommendations for corrective actions to the customer, including a summary of any safety concerns observed.

Engage with customer representatives regarding repair and safety issues. Prepare necessary labor, material, tools, and equipment requirements for repairs.

Provide appropriate checklists and forms for all inspection or service documentation, including Service Reports and Inspection Reports; obtain customer signatures to confirm acceptance. Offer daily supervision and support to site-based inspectors and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship through regular spot checks. Prepare quick quotes for immediate service or repair needs as requested by customers; document acceptance with customer signatures. Familiarize yourself with and apply relevant industry codes and regulations, refreshing knowledge periodically. Assist site personnel with inquiries related to inspection practices and documentation. Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Maintain regular communication with the branch office following established practices. Coordinate with the branch service supervisor for additional manpower as needed. Ensure all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets are maintained in safe working order and report any deficiencies. Keep a supply of necessary forms and materials on-site, documenting usage or sales to customers as required. Adhere to all safety protocols, including those set by the customer. Maintain company vehicles and uniforms in a clean and presentable condition. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years of experience in crane service or a related field. Six months of experience as a Service Technician is preferred. Experience in customer service or sales is advantageous. Must be willing and able to work at heights. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are essential.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record. Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties as required.
