POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
Must live within 45 minutes from home to Customers Site.
Hours - 6AM - 5 PM

Konecranes is in search of a qualified individual with prior crane experience to fulfill the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the established schedule of customer inspections and preventative maintenance. Our employees operate in a safety-first environment, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those set by clients. This role involves conducting inspections and providing immediate quotes to clients as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute the established schedule of customer inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring completion or alternative arrangements are made. Guarantee that inspections and maintenance are conducted within the allotted hours while maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly. Conduct inspections in accordance with established standards and current service product parameters. Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer, including a safety summary of any observed safety concerns. Collaborate with customer representatives on repair and safety-related matters. Prepare labor, material, and equipment requirements for repairs. Provide necessary checklists and documentation for all inspection or service-related activities, ensuring customer signatures are obtained for acceptance. Offer daily supervision and support for site-based inspectors/technicians, ensuring the highest quality and workmanship through spot checks. Provide quick quotes for immediate service or repair needs as requested by customers, obtaining necessary documentation for tracking and follow-up. Understand and apply OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other relevant codes or regulations. Regularly refresh knowledge and assist site personnel with inspection practices and documentation. Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Maintain regular communication with the branch office as per established practices. Coordinate with the branch service supervisor for additional manpower as needed. Maintain all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in safe working order. Operate tools and vehicles responsibly, reporting any deficiencies to the local branch office. Keep a supply of forms, literature, and materials on-site as required. Adhere to all established safety rules and procedures, including those set by the customer. Maintain a clean and presentable company vehicle and uniform. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in crane service or a related field. Six (6) months of experience as a Service Technician is preferred. Customer service/sales experience is also preferred. Must be willing and able to work at heights. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are essential.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties as required by customer needs.
