POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
Must reside within a reasonable distance from customer sites.
Hours: 6AM - 5PM

Konecranes is in search of a qualified individual with prior crane experience to take on the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance for our customers. Our work environment prioritizes safety, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those set by clients. This role involves conducting inspections and providing timely quotes to clients as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute the established schedule for customer inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely completion or alternative arrangements.
Conduct inspections and maintenance within designated hours while maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly.
Perform inspections according to established standards and document findings, providing corrective recommendations for any safety concerns identified.
Collaborate with customer representatives regarding repair and safety issues, preparing necessary documentation for repairs.
Ensure all inspection and service-related documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, obtaining necessary customer signatures.
Supervise and support site-based inspectors and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship through regular checks.
Provide quick quotes for immediate service needs, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Stay informed about industry regulations and assist colleagues with inspection practices and documentation.
Maintain regular communication with the branch office and coordinate additional manpower as needed.
Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are maintained in safe working order and report any deficiencies.
Keep a supply of necessary forms and materials on-site, documenting usage as required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance.
Participate in safety meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years in crane service or a related field. Six months of experience as a Service Technician is preferred. Customer service experience is also beneficial. Must be capable of working at heights and possess strong communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties is required.
