POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
Must live within 45 minutes from home to Customers Site.
Hours - 6AM - 5 PM

Konecranes is looking for a qualified individual with prior crane experience to take on the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the established schedule of customer inspections and preventative maintenance. Our work environment prioritizes safety, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those set by clients. This role involves conducting inspections and providing immediate quotes to clients as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute the established schedule of required customer inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring completion or alternative arrangements are made. Ensure inspections and maintenance are performed within the designated hours while maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly. Conduct inspections in accordance with established standards and document findings, providing corrective recommendations to customers, including a Safety Summary of any identified safety concerns.

Determine customer intentions regarding repairs and communicate necessary actions for completion.

Engage with customer representatives on repair and safety issues, preparing labor, material, and equipment requirements for all repairs. Provide necessary checklists and documentation for all inspection or service-related activities, ensuring customer signatures are obtained for acceptance. Offer daily supervision and support to site-based inspectors/technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship through regular spot checks. Generate Quick Quotes for immediate service or repair needs as requested by customers, obtaining necessary signatures for documentation. Familiarize and apply relevant OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other industry regulations, refreshing knowledge periodically and assisting site personnel with inspection-related inquiries. Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner, adhering to established guidelines. Maintain regular communication with the Branch Office as per established practices. Coordinate with the branch Service Supervisor for additional manpower as needed. Ensure all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets are maintained in safe working order, operating tools and vehicles responsibly. Keep a supply of necessary forms and materials onsite, documenting usage or sales as required. Adhere to all established safety rules and procedures, including those set by the customer. Maintain a clean and presentable company vehicle and uniform. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years in crane service or a related field. Six (6) months as a Service Technician preferred. Experience in customer service or sales is advantageous. Must be willing and able to work at heights. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are essential.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record. Availability for varied overtime and on-call duties as required.
