POSITION TITLE: Site Technician Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
Must reside within a reasonable distance from the customer site.
Hours: 6AM - 5PM

Konecranes is looking for a qualified individual with prior crane experience to fulfill the role of Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing the established schedule of customer inspections and preventative maintenance. Our employees operate in a safety-first environment, and the Site Supervisor must adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those set by clients. In this capacity, you will conduct inspections and provide immediate quotes to clients as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute the established schedule of customer-required inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring completion or making alternative arrangements as needed. Guarantee that inspections and preventative maintenance are conducted within the designated hours without compromising safety or quality. Communicate any exceptions to the supervisor promptly. Conduct inspections in accordance with established standards and current service product parameters. Document findings and provide corrective recommendations to customers, including a summary of any observed safety concerns.
Consult with customer representatives regarding repair and safety-related matters. Prepare necessary labor, material, and equipment requirements for repairs.
Ensure proper documentation for all inspection or service-related activities, including service reports and time sheets, obtaining customer signatures for acceptance. Provide daily supervision and support for site-based inspectors/technicians, ensuring the highest quality and workmanship through spot checks. Generate quick quotes for immediate service or repair needs as requested by customers, documenting acceptance with appropriate signatures. Understand and apply OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other relevant codes or regulations. Refresh knowledge periodically and assist site personnel with inspection practices and documentation. Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit it in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Maintain regular communication with the branch office following established practices. Coordinate with the branch service supervisor for additional site work manpower. Ensure all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets are maintained in safe and proper working order. Maintain a supply of forms, literature, and inventory on-site, documenting usage or sales to customers as required. Adhere to all established safety rules and procedures, including those set by customers. Keep company vehicles and uniforms clean and presentable. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or a related field, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is preferred.EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years of experience in crane service or a related field. Six months of experience as a service technician is preferred. Experience in customer service or sales roles is advantageous. Must be willing and able to work at heights. Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are essential.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Availability for occasional overtime and on-call duties as required by customer needs.
