Position Overview: Sales and Events Coordinator

As a key member of our team at Hotel Resource, the Sales and Events Coordinator will be instrumental in driving revenue through effective sales strategies and exceptional event management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative sales strategies to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Identify and engage potential clients to achieve revenue targets.
  • Maximize revenue by upselling services and packages tailored to client needs.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Prepare and manage event documentation, ensuring clear communication and execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Represent Hotel Resource at community events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen and a passion for hospitality. Key qualifications include:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or event management within the hospitality sector.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
