Position Overview:

We are seeking an Affiliate Partnerships Manager to enhance our Affiliate Marketing Team as we expand our affiliate collaborations across various sectors. This role primarily focuses on the "Loan Platform Business" and the growth of SoFi personal loans, while also supporting additional products such as Student Loans and Home Loans. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain the affiliate program, oversee internal processes (including compliance, reporting & analytics, forecasting, etc.), and lead engagement with internal stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of lead generation and manage daily operations of our affiliate partnerships.
  • Enhance and optimize affiliate programs to balance growth, cost, and lifetime value, while strategically scaling key affiliate accounts.
  • Foster innovative growth by working with engineering teams to expand the Loan Platform Business.
  • Exhibit a high level of self-motivation and success-driven mindset, capable of building internal and external relationships independently.
  • Demonstrate a passion for establishing, closing, and nurturing affiliate partnerships, with the ability to optimize from lead generation to revenue through negotiations and actionable insights.
  • Utilize data to inform optimization decisions regarding performance campaign strategies, placements, and creative assets.
  • Develop forecasts, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
  • Support and lead the enhancement of foundational affiliate capabilities and processes, including Compliance, Analytics, Invoicing, and Operations.
  • Source new partners and efficiently scale volume using data and projected goals within the channel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams, including Business Unit, Product Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering, to achieve objectives.
  • Work with senior leadership to devise internal strategies and structures for the Affiliate department that will foster growth and long-term success.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in Affiliate Marketing, with at least 5 years of overall experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in optimizing and scaling partnerships and/or performance campaigns.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of compliance with state and federal regulations relevant to this role.
  • Familiarity with data reporting and affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., Tableau, Impact, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Experience in the finance sector is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
  • Interest in coding or a background in data science.
  • Experience with Python, Snowflake, or API development.
