Senior Analyst, Affiliate and Content

Team Overview

As a vital member of the centralized Paid Digital Advertising team, you will contribute to the Paid Affiliates & Content Marketing team, overseeing the management of our Affiliate, Influencer, Registry, and Content Partnership initiatives across all Williams-Sonoma Inc. Brands and International platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Planner / Analyst to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our Affiliate, Influencer, Registry, and Content Partnership programs throughout Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Your primary focus will be on driving growth, attracting new customers, maximizing return on investment (ROI), and enhancing brand visibility and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate campaign strategies, testing methodologies, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) across various programs and platforms.
  • Design and execute digital media strategies and campaigns aimed at supporting registry acquisition and fulfillment across multiple brands.
  • Build and sustain relationships with media partners across different programs.
  • Broaden WSI's network of paid content creators and influencer affiliates, coordinating with each brand's PR & Social teams to ensure consistent communication while considering SEO impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Affiliate Analyst to manage the affiliate program, emphasizing the strategy and growth of content affiliate partners.
  • Set KPI objectives for each campaign and partner with internal attribution teams to deliver cross-channel de-duplicated results.
  • Effectively manage multiple campaigns with diverse budgets and objectives, with a strong emphasis on weekly and monthly spending and ROI targets.
  • Continuously monitor campaign pacing and performance, ensuring timely and accurate budget delivery while developing comprehensive cross-channel reporting.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of new campaign concepts in collaboration with internal CRM, brand eCommerce, and social and PR teams to align initiatives with brand visions.
  • Coordinate creative trafficking across registry and ad hoc content partnerships, working with brand creative, social, and PR teams to ensure timely seasonal updates.
  • Educate internal teams on best practices, platform and process updates, new strategies, and top-of-funnel investment opportunities. Develop communication strategies to ensure that relevant WSI teams can effectively discuss performance.
  • Create and present reports on performance, strategy, and industry trends to various levels within the WSI organization.
  • Oversee monthly invoicing and accrual processes across programs for all brands.
  • Ensure proper tracking mechanisms are in place, collaborating closely with display operations teams and IT for pixel implementation and DCM ad serving.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 2 years of experience in digital planning, with strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.).
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in developing cross-team processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A technical background in digital program tracking, particularly in affiliate conversion tracking and display view-through attribution.
  • Familiarity with site analytics tools.
  • A collaborative spirit with a desire to influence and contribute as part of a team.

The expected starting salary range for this position is $78,000-$92,000 annually, with actual pay determined based on experience and other job-related factors. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include various components such as benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
