Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Sales Account Executive to enhance our Sales team, concentrating on the promotion of data center solutions and services. The successful candidate will possess a robust sales background within the data center sector, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of data center technologies and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue objectives within the data center market.
- Identify, assess, and qualify potential leads and business opportunities through comprehensive research and relationship development.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with key stakeholders and decision-makers at data center facilities, including senior executives and IT management.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical teams to customize data center solutions that align with client requirements.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate the advantages of our data center offerings.
- Engage in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the data center field.
- Represent Compu Dynamics at industry events and conferences to promote our solutions and establish our presence as thought leaders.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales within the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with critical power and cooling systems in data centers.
- 3-5 years of experience collaborating with IT firms, colocation providers, and end-users managing data center infrastructure.
