Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a focus on General Construction to serve the Northern Virginia region. This role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this position, the following essential functions will be performed:
1. Identify and cultivate new business leads and opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.
2. Engage in prospecting, proposal development, and closing new revenue streams.
3. Develop and articulate scopes of work and cost estimates.
4. Build and maintain professional networks with IT and facility management personnel in both governmental and commercial sectors.
5. Stay informed about trends and technologies in the mission-critical power and cooling industry.
6. Design and implement innovative strategies and programs that align with client objectives.
7. Manage all sales demonstration tools and applications effectively.
8. Uphold a high standard of professionalism in interactions with clients, vendors, and colleagues, fostering positive working relationships.
9. Operate a company or personal vehicle in compliance with local regulations while servicing the area.
10. Adhere to safety protocols while operating vehicles and equipment, reporting any hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
5-8 years of outside sales experience in General Construction or Data Center industries is preferred.
Additional Preferences:
A minimum of a Secret Clearance is highly desirable.
