We are seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships to join UnitedMasters.
Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage, implement, and enhance the current business development strategies and initiatives for the organization.
  • Identify, assess, engage, and follow up with potential clients through various sales, communication, and marketing approaches (e.g., leveraging existing CMO/Marketing contacts, cold outreach, virtual/in-person event participation, presentations, etc.).
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key prospects to discern and fulfill their business requirements.
  • Present our capabilities and articulate our unique value proposition tailored to the needs of prospects and the strengths of our offerings.
  • Develop and personalize presentations and other sales collateral, including scopes of work. Contribute to and oversee the creation of essential sales tools such as case studies and awards submissions.
  • Lead the organization’s responses to RFPs, collaborating with various teams to craft and package credentials and manage the proposal process from inception to completion.
  • Set and achieve sales objectives, metrics, and milestones. Monitor and report on progress and success to both the Agency Senior Leadership Team and Enterprise Sales Leadership.
  • Exhibit a passion for pop culture, multicultural entertainment, sports, and brands, while understanding client needs in these domains.
  • Gather insights on market trends and client needs, consulting with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pitch lifecycle for creative agencies.
  • Proficient in managing the RFI and RFP processes from start to finish (including resource allocation, milestone management, leadership reviews, scope development, and negotiations).
  • Exhibit high levels of initiative, energy, accountability, creativity, and professionalism.
  • Possess exceptional time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Skilled in creating impactful proposals, sales materials, presentations, and product summaries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

Minimum Experience
  • 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in creative/social agencies, media companies, or content firms is advantageous), including skills in selling, negotiating, closing deals, and relationship building.
  • Based in NY for a hybrid office role.
Preferred Experience
  • A strong enthusiasm for sports, music, entertainment, and pop culture.
  • A deep respect for creativity.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in digital tools and Google Suite.
