Position Overview

Become a vital part of our team at The City of Providence and contribute positively to the community.

Role Summary:

  • Deliver resource assistance and care coordination for youth in foster care along with their families.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients and families, facilitating access to essential services aimed at enhancing their quality of life.
  • Connect families with necessary services including mental health resources, housing support, and more.
  • Facilitate support groups and educate parents on trauma-informed parenting techniques.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related discipline is essential.
  • A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and auto insurance are mandatory.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a prerequisite.
  • Additional compensation is provided for bilingual capabilities.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to travel to client locations and lift items weighing up to 20lbs.
