Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and driven Brand Strategy Manager to become a vital part of our organization. This position is essential for the effective implementation of our brand marketing strategies and operational activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with enhancing operational efficiency, overseeing marketing projects, ensuring brand uniformity, and managing experiential and trade marketing initiatives to support Richardson Sports Inc.'s broader brand objectives.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, possessing a strong background in brand strategy and operational management. You are skilled at navigating complex projects and excel in teamwork settings. Your expertise encompasses marketing campaigns, project oversight, content development, vendor coordination, and creative production workflows. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, project management software, and analytical platforms is essential.

Collaborative Environment

This role will report directly to the Marketing Director at Richardson Sports Inc. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Specialist and Brand Design team, as well as engage with various departments within the organization. Additionally, you will work alongside external partners and agencies to achieve our marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of brand marketing projects, including campaigns, content creation, social media outreach, email marketing, and other promotional activities.
  • Lead marketing operations, ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to brand standards.
  • Oversee the brand calendar to maintain alignment between marketing, design, and various business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content that resonates with our target demographic.
  • Coordinate and oversee trade show and experiential marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with brand goals and meet budgetary constraints while delivering a unified brand experience.
  • Design and implement digital marketing strategies that align with the brand's objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Work with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to execute marketing campaigns and ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and manage paid media strategies across multiple platforms, focusing on performance optimization and return on investment.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers, influencers, and other key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Oversee the marketing budget and monitor campaign performance metrics to ensure return on investment targets are achieved.
  • Analyze performance data and provide regular insights on marketing campaign effectiveness to inform future strategies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or 5-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand strategy, social media management, marketing operations, or within a marketing agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, paid media strategies, and current industry trends.
  • Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret and synthesize data for informed decision-making.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle ambiguity.
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM, DAM, and project management tools such as HubSpot, Canto, Figma, GA4, and WordPress is highly desirable.

This position is based at Richardson Sports Inc.'s headquarters. While this is primarily an onsite role, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
