Job Description

The Normal Brand is a rapidly expanding fashion company that sells clothing and accessories online and in over 500 stores across the US. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Leader to join our team at our brick-and-mortar store in a prominent mall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction by creating a high-energy, clean, and fun store environment.
  • Inspire and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage store revenue, payroll, and inventory levels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing store team.
  • Implement and maintain high customer service standards throughout the store and team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Maximize revenue through suggestive selling and effective inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized store that meets Normal Brand standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to District Leaders on all aspects of the business.
  • Mentor and develop team members through clear communication and coaching.
  • Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Educate and train team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Participate in regular calls with peers and District Leaders to share best practices and discuss business performance.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in retail apparel management.
  • Ability to learn from feedback and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Inventory management and merchandising skills.
  • Time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong people skills, including approachability and friendliness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-unit store management experience.
  • 6+ years of retail management experience.
  • Fashion or apparel industry experience.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency in Shopify and Shopify POS.
  • Strong integrity and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent fashion sense and style.
  • Self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience as an apparel buyer.
