Job Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Event Operations will oversee a substantial team dedicated to event staffing, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and excellence in customer service while delivering efficient and profitable staffing solutions for various events. This role emphasizes professionalism and the seamless orchestration of resources to achieve exceptional outcomes. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the daily functions of the Event Resource Team, which encompasses staffing, event logistics, billing, and inventory management.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the Event Resources Team by analyzing job costing schedules and the monthly Resources Profit & Loss statements.
  • Provide strong leadership to a diverse workforce, cultivating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Establish clear expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Drive adherence to organizational standards and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Implement strategies to enhance organizational efficiency in staffing, security, and parking operations.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering robust customer relationships.
  • Promptly address customer concerns and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and execute strategies to improve profitability and resource utilization.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism among team members, setting high expectations for excellence in service delivery.
  • Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounting and Finance teams to oversee budgetary considerations and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Contribute to the formulation of financial plans and business development strategies for staffing operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial role overseeing staffing operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven commitment to professionalism and customer service.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
