Job Overview

Mack Property Management is expanding and is in search of a Senior Vice President of Regional Operations to oversee our portfolio across the western United States.

The SVP will enhance our existing operations by leading a team of experts in property management services throughout a multi-state portfolio.

Proficiency in operational and maintenance management, particularly in multi-family housing, is essential for this position.

This role will significantly influence our growth trajectory, especially with a series of new construction projects on the horizon.

We seek an individual capable of spearheading new business strategies, enhancing service offerings, and optimizing financial performance for our owner group's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster relationships with property owners and senior executives, offering insights to enhance on-site operations.
  • Prepare and implement annual budgets and strategic business plans.
  • Oversee diverse assets across multiple expanding markets, including residential, industrial, and commercial properties.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive programs and strategies aimed at achieving optimal operational and financial performance.
  • Lead and influence a distributed management team while providing hands-on guidance to ensure regional and community-level success.
  • Ensure the establishment and evaluation of daily operational objectives and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Maintenance for effective capital expense planning and project management.
  • Guide the Operations Support Manager in successfully tracking and achieving regional goals.
  • Maintain brand standards consistently.
  • Identify innovative solutions and recommend improvements to enhance the company's financial health.
  • Assist in reviewing annual operating budgets and capital budget planning.
  • Analyze budget variances and propose operational strategies to address challenges.
  • Stay informed on local regulations affecting property management within the assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure the achievement of positive key performance indicators, including initiative adoption and revenue enhancement.
  • Provide strategic insights and best practices for asset preservation and capital improvement decisions.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance programs across the portfolio.
  • Review contracts and service agreements prior to corporate approval.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management protocols, including incident reporting and safety training.
  • Be prepared for additional hours and travel as required by business needs.
  • Utilize company HRIS for time and attendance documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree and/or a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in the multi-family housing sector or a related field is required. Experience in construction management is advantageous. Proven track record in developing high-performing teams through mentorship is essential. Experience in industrial and commercial management is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, including a base salary and eligibility for a performance bonus. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40 hours per week.
