Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Fundraising is a pivotal role within our organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for spearheading initiatives to secure significant financial contributions from individuals and corporate partners to further our mission.

  • Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting major gifts.
  • Oversee a portfolio of high-value prospects and existing donors.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential donors and maintain meticulous records.
  • Organize and manage high-profile fundraising events.
  • Collaborate with board members and staff to foster donor engagement.
  • Work alongside the communications team to create impactful donor communication materials.
  • Ensure adherence to fundraising standards and legal requirements.
  • Achieve financial goals and contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Deep commitment to advocating for the rights of abused children.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on organizational advancement.
  • Positive demeanor and resilience in facing challenges.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in major gifts fundraising.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising best practices and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Proficient in organizational and project management.
  • Dedication to child abuse prevention and advocacy.
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
