Essential Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree is also acceptable. Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one. All applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.

Role Overview

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the F-15 AESA Radome Manufacturing Team, you will collaborate with a diverse team to enhance and refine the manufacturing processes for military fighter-jet radomes. This role involves interpreting and communicating complex technical specifications related to various programs.

  • Design and implement manufacturing engineering tools, strategies, and systems, including detailed floor layouts and operational plans for specific products and processes. This will necessitate the creation of procedural documentation for the execution and upkeep of methods, operational sequences, and equipment calibration standards.
  • Innovate and enhance manufacturing techniques, leveraging our team's expertise in product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality assurance standards.
