Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to provide essential engineering support to our manufacturing operations. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects related to PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day engineering assistance to manufacturing areas, including weekdays and weekends as necessary.
  • Support the design, development, and execution of PLC projects.
  • Provide technical support across different facility areas, including supervising and documenting engineering processes.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with manufacturing teams on compliance issues.
  • Conduct engineering studies on new equipment, including data collection during start-up and testing phases.
  • Manage and execute change control activities related to equipment and systems.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and implement solutions for both existing and new systems.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in controls engineering, with a focus on Rockwell Control Logix PLCs.
  • Experience with robotic systems and electrical design review is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop solutions for complex engineering challenges.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Understanding of various communication protocols and control automation.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.

Work Environment: The position requires the ability to frequently transition between office and production settings, including working in clean room environments.
