Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer fuel storage tanks and systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the COO, VP of Commercial Services, and other key personnel to create and execute effective engineering designs.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with electrical, software, and other project elements.
  • Act as a vital communication link, maintaining clear and consistent interactions with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Adapt engineering designs and methodologies to address changing project needs, focusing on innovative solutions and maintaining technical integrity.
  • Assist manufacturing and production teams to facilitate a smooth transition from design to production.
  • Develop and enhance engineering procedures, promoting continuous improvement in practices and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, particularly in high-risk environments like airports and military sites.
  • Encourage a culture of excellence and accountability within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative team setting.
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; a Professional Engineering license or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with design layouts and proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
