Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all vetting requests in accordance with Vetting Support Unit (VSU) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure thorough completion of each step.
  • Exhibit reliability and understanding of the assigned Mission Order related to vetting.
  • Maintain and update assigned vetting trackers daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of vetting Mission/Bureau Orders for the designated vetting programs.
  • Utilize professional and technical skills to perform duties at the expected level.
  • Identify potential challenges in completing tasks and propose effective solutions.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities as needed.
  • Communicate complex and sensitive information clearly and concisely.
  • Employ a professional vocabulary suitable for the position when drafting communications.
  • Ensure acknowledgment and timely processing of Partners' vetting requests.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by adhering to Vetting Officials' instructions and responding promptly to inquiries.
  • Consistently follow up on customer requests.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager, colleagues, and government personnel.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, updating, supporting, scheduling, organizing, and managing various tasks, including:
    • Administrative duties such as project tracking, data analysis, documentation, and budget management.
    • Clerical tasks including file management, correspondence preparation, visitor reception, and meeting coordination.
  • Effectively manage multiple competing priorities through strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Provide regular updates to the internal management team.
  • Onsite presence required for a minimum of three days per week as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • At least one year of professional administrative support experience.
  • Ability to obtain Facility Access Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, email, and database management.
  • Strong communication and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple detailed tasks.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, particularly with senior leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

Final salary will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and available funding. Our positions come with a variety of benefits, which may include:
