Key Responsibilities- Process all vetting requests in accordance with Vetting Support Unit (VSU) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure thorough completion of each task.
- Exhibit reliability and a clear understanding of the assigned Mission Order related to vetting.
- Maintain accurate and current vetting trackers on a daily basis.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of vetting Mission/Bureau Orders for the designated vetting programs.
- Demonstrate the necessary professional and technical competencies to fulfill the role effectively.
- Anticipate challenges in completing tasks and propose viable solutions.
- Adapt to shifting priorities as required.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize professional language in both formal and informal communications.
Identify and address customer needs by ensuring timely acknowledgment and processing of Partners' vetting requests.
- Deliver exemplary customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Consistently follow up on customer inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with the Program Manager, colleagues, and government representatives.
Assist in various administrative functions including project tracking, data analysis, documentation, and budget management.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, maintaining library resources, and supporting portfolio reviews.
- Handle information requests and coordinate meeting schedules.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities through strong organizational and communication skills.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to the internal management team.
- Onsite presence is required for at least three days a week as directed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in administrative support.
- Ability to obtain Facility Access Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet applications, and database management.
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Capability to perform under tight deadlines while managing detail-oriented tasks.
- Effective interpersonal skills, particularly with senior leadership.
Salary will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and available funding.
