Shift Requirements: McGee Air Services operates 24/7; candidates must be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. We maintain a balance between hard work and enjoyment, adapting our schedules to accommodate celebrations and personal time.

Compensation:

The starting pay for this position ranges from $20.18 to $23.18 per hour, with the current full hourly rate capped at $23.18 per hour.

Physical Demands:

This role is physically intensive. Responsibilities include loading and unloading aircraft and performing various tasks such as:

  • Operating equipment like tugs, tractors, belt loaders, and forklifts.
  • Working in a busy, fast-paced, and often noisy environment.
  • Previous experience in a ramp environment is preferred.
  • Safety is our top priority; personal safety gear will be provided.
  • Must frequently lift, carry, and move heavy items, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
  • Clean driving record with no license suspensions in the last decade, no more than three speeding violations in the past five years, and no DUI offenses in the last three years.
  • Must adhere to McGee's standards regarding safety, uniform compliance, attendance, and other employment requirements.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Experience with passenger buses is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license and one of the following documents is required:
    • Original or certified birth certificate
    • Unexpired US Passport
    • Permanent Resident Card
    • Unexpired US Territory Passport and I-94
  • Airport SIDA Badge Requirements: Employees must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge as per airport authority regulations.
Bus Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality, reporting any issues to a supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of buses and boarding areas.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and prioritize safety at all times.
  • Address passenger inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Willingness to undertake additional tasks as required.

This position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and the incumbent will be subject to its terms and conditions.
