Position Overview:
As a key member of the management team, the Security Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of security operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures. This role involves managing the security budget and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $165,000, with a midpoint of $115,000. New hires typically start between the minimum and midpoint, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and market factors.

Key Responsibilities:
The Security Operations Manager will:
  • Administer and manage multiple budgets and projects, ensuring cost control through competitive bidding and procurement processes.
  • Maintain and update security operation plans, collaborating with various departments for data collection and input.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure all security assets are tracked and maintained according to agency standards.
  • Review and approve all training programs and manuals related to security operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including data management and report preparation, to support operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the development of policies, objectives, and budgets for security operations.
  • Engage in professional development and stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of five years of experience in security operations management or a related area.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
