VP/Director of Business Development

Rise Technical is seeking an experienced VP/Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in the Department of Defense (DoD) sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy for the DoD, building and managing a substantial DoD pipeline, and creating technical marketing materials to showcase to potential customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the DoD sector.
- Build and manage a substantial DoD pipeline, identifying and qualifying opportunities to close.
- Create technical marketing materials to showcase to potential customers and partners.
- Lead the entire lifecycle of business deals, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing.
- Travel required: 20 – 40%.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in BD/Partnership experience in the DoD sector.
- Solid background in selling semiconductors or technology.
- Military experience preferred but not essential.
- Expertise in creating and executing go-to-market strategies and driving successful DoD sales.
- In-depth understanding of DoD trends, with experience in military radios being a plus.
