Position Overview:

The Electrical Assembly Technician, also referred to as Electrical Craftsman, plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and precision in the assembly, fabrication, and operation of electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize various tools and equipment to assemble products in accordance with established specifications and procedures, including the assembly of electrical components and wire routing.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the finished product.
  • Maintain accountability for tools and equipment within the Electrical Shop.
  • Seek guidance as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by senior personnel.

Compensation:
USD $26.87 Hourly

Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience in an aerospace electrical manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus wire specifications is advantageous.
  • An FAA A&P certificate is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Understanding of customer expectations and specifications.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and follow written procedures.

Working Conditions:
  • Manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
  • Normal hearing and vision are essential for safety and job performance.
  • Ability to distinguish between color spectrums.
