JOB OVERVIEW

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be involved in the assembly of fusion generators (plasma accelerators). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Constructing small or lightweight subassemblies
  • Testing components to ensure functionality
  • Conducting quality checks and repairing defective parts

Utilize a variety of electrical and pneumatic tools, as well as hand tools, to maintain high standards of workmanship. It is essential to keep your workspace organized and clean while also engaging in special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with soldering is a plus
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy while following build materials and instructions with minimal supervision
  • Experience with various builds or projects, particularly in mechanical or electrical assemblies
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • A positive and entrepreneurial mindset, along with a passion for clean energy

COMPENSATION

The hourly wage for this position is $24.

WORK SCHEDULE

This role operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
