Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician

Join our dynamic team as we look for skilled Assemblers to contribute to our production efforts. The role involves executing a range of intricate and varied assembly tasks related to complex electronic devices and components, including modules, circuit boards, panels, and wiring harnesses. This position represents the pinnacle of advancement within the assembly job category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing assembly methods and sequences when complete details are not immediately accessible.
  • Accurately creating initial layouts and utilizing wiring diagrams and assembly schematics.
  • Conducting wiring, component installation, and precision soldering.
  • Performing continuity checks, disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling units with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Executing tasks such as stripping, tinning, bending parts, and securing terminal connections effectively.
  • Employing schematics, blueprints, wiring lists, parts lists, and both verbal and written instructions to accurately assemble, modify, or reassemble units.
  • Providing training to junior assemblers while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Compensation: $24 - $27 per hour – paid weekly.

Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Thursday)

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in hand soldering, de-soldering, and wiring techniques.
  • Some prior assembly experience is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be conducted in an aerospace manufacturing and production machine shop.
  • Regular exposure to vibration is expected.
  • Occasional work near moving mechanical parts and in elevated positions, with a risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the workplace is typically very loud.
