Tax and Internal Audit Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax and Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Anaergia. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in leading our tax and internal audit functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax:
    • Manage all tax projects, including sales and use tax, property tax, income tax, and international tax.
    • Bring in-house tax returns, tax provisions, and transfer pricing documentation updates.
    • Lead the global tax restructure to maximize tax benefits and minimize risks.
    • Work with external tax firms to meet all tax return filing deadlines.
    • Safeguard the company from tax audits and penalties.
    • Provide consultation to international finance teams on taxes in their countries.
  • Internal Audit:
    • Work with the Internal Control Manager to identify and resolve issues in all processes.
    • Make business recommendations to improve internal efficiency and operation.
    • Work with the ERP team to complete Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation globally.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to improve finance and accounting processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a CPA and prior public accounting experience.
  • Experience in tax and internal audit on a global basis.
  • Extensive management experience and ability to roll up your sleeves to get the work done.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to global entities and global teams, including international tax and global internal process improvement.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to produce complete, accurate, and timely deliverables.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
  • Must be able to work independently, think critically, and make continual efforts to push through positive changes in processes.
