Position Summary:

We are in search of an International Merchandiser to assist in the assortment planning and management of our Men's and Women's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) offerings for the international market. This role is pivotal in fostering a strong collaboration between the US Product Merchandising team and our international counterparts. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have a robust background in merchandising, coupled with a passion for performance apparel and alignment with Vuori's core values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing strategic assortment plans for the international market, pinpointing product opportunities to achieve substantial growth.
  • Oversee the seasonal assortment tools and line sheets necessary for international operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Product Merchandising team and the international team, actively participating in weekly deliverables for both groups.
  • Engage in product milestone meetings to advocate for the needs of the international channel and ensure alignment with global assortments.
  • Contribute to refining store and e-commerce assortments to meet the diverse needs of international markets.
  • Compile weekly product performance reports for all international regions, identifying opportunities and variances compared to US performance.
  • Facilitate communication regarding assortment updates and changes to the international team.
  • Collaborate with Planning to execute seasonal purchasing, ensuring alignment with global product and financial objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandising.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in both DTC and international merchandising preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global apparel trends and market dynamics.
  • Strong eye for relevant, trend-aligned products that resonate with the brand's aesthetic.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator.
