Overview

Our client, a prominent player in the commercial construction sector, is seeking an Information Technology Operations Leader to design, implement, and support various business systems while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves overseeing helpdesk support operations and managing the team to guarantee timely responses to employee inquiries and issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Business Operations
    • Identify challenges and opportunities within the business landscape.
    • Propose and manage solutions aligned with the overall business development strategy.
    • Conduct planning, forecasting, and financial analysis for all business initiatives.
    • Generate reports as required based on the analysis of business initiatives.
    • Conduct site visits as necessary to provide on-site training on relevant information systems.
    • Create and oversee employee training programs through quarterly sessions and ongoing e-learning.
    • Assist the Director of Technical Operations with any related rollout initiatives.
  • Systems Administration and Governance
    • Ensure compliance, security, and auditability of all business systems.
    • Plan disaster recovery strategies and requirements.
    • Guarantee business continuity for all information systems and technology.
    • Plan architectural changes to systems and environments; ensure continuity for all IT projects.
  • Support Operations and IT Management
    • Direct and manage helpdesk support operations, including task assignment and workload planning.
    • Support daily business operations by addressing internal and external inquiries, support tickets, and emails.
    • Oversee daily IT operations, including employee lifecycle management, device oversight, vendor negotiations, and project planning.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Mentor and develop team members to foster strong relationships and cultivate future leaders.
    • Provide regular performance feedback using a balanced strengths-based approach.
    • Actively participate in onboarding processes.
    • Support and embody company values to create lasting relationships with clients and partners.
