    • Process bi-weekly and/or special payrolls
    • Administer and ensure accurate, efficient, and timely payroll activities
    • Perform bi-weekly audits of timecards and payroll data
    • Proactively communicate with timecard approvers or employees to resolve issues affecting payroll
    • Track and resolve payroll errors
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer and ensure accurate, efficient, and timely benefits activities
    • Process benefits enrollments and changes
    • Communicate benefits information to employees
  • HR Support
    • Provide timely reporting to applicable groups
    • Support various HR metrics
    • Participate in internal and external audits
    • Serve as a contact for employees and managers with HR-related questions
  • Record Maintenance
    • Record maintenance, including filing and general organization
    • Record retrieval, archiving, and purging
  • Compliance
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Education
    • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 2 years of HR-related administrative or bookkeeping/accounting experience
    • Proven experience in payroll processing
  • Skills
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas
    • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field
  • Experience
    • Experience with compensation analysis
    • Experience with training deployment/learning & development
    • Experience in employee communications
    • Experience with Paylocity
