Job Overview

Summary

K2 Staffing is representing a rapidly expanding Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a dedicated professional for an IT Sales and Business Development position. This role is ideal for individuals with a robust understanding of data center solutions, hybrid cloud services, network security, managed print services, and VOIP technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to promote IT product and service solutions.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Analyze industry trends to create compelling value propositions that meet client needs.
  • Oversee daily client interactions, report progress to the VP of Sales, and explore new business avenues across the client's operations.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and solutions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in selling IT hardware and services.
  • Possessing an established client network in the local area is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, data center solutions, hybrid cloud, managed print, and VOIP, along with a willingness to learn about emerging technologies.
  • A collaborative mindset that inspires confidence among executive leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and time management skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences.
  • Proficient problem-solving and consultative selling abilities.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational capabilities.
