Position Overview

The Regional Marketing Specialist for the Americas will play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing various strategic initiatives and campaigns, representing the region within the larger commercial framework. In collaboration with channel managers, account managers, and sales specialists, you will be instrumental in executing targeted revenue campaigns for LGC Standards brands. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all brands across diverse touchpoints, ensuring the effective execution of marketing initiatives at the country level.

You will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing while maintaining a dotted line to the VP of Commercial Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy for the Americas region in alignment with global marketing and regional commercial teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of LGC's product offerings across various market segments, including Pharmaceuticals, Environmental, Food, Forensics, Cannabis, and Industrial.
  • Leverage LGC's tools and processes to manage campaigns, monitor analytics, and support global marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to create marketing assets and optimize media strategies for the region.
  • Engage with commercial teams to analyze Voice of Customer data and derive actionable insights.
  • Conduct market research, identify target markets, track industry trends, and explore potential growth opportunities.
  • Enhance brand visibility through participation in exhibitions, seminars, and events while representing the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Marketing degree or equivalent business qualification.
  • Interest in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or biology is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, including market research and campaign execution.
  • Preferred experience in marketing technical products for research laboratories.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and product value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the Americas region and occasionally to APAC and Europe.
