Position Overview
The Regional Marketing Specialist for the Americas will be instrumental in supporting and advancing various strategic initiatives and campaigns, acting as a representative for the region within the larger commercial framework. You will collaborate closely with channel managers, account managers, and sales specialists, playing a vital role in executing targeted revenue campaigns for LGC Standards brands. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing multiple brands across various platforms, ensuring the effective execution of marketing initiatives at the country level.
You will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the VP of Commercial Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy for the Americas in alignment with global marketing and regional commercial teams.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of LGC's product offerings across diverse market segments, including Pharmaceuticals, Environmental, Food, Forensics, Cannabis, and Industrial.
- Utilize LGC's tools and methodologies to manage campaigns, monitor analytics, and support global marketing efforts.
- Engage with external agencies and vendors to create marketing assets and optimize media strategies for the region.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to analyze customer feedback and derive actionable insights.
- Conduct market analysis, identify target demographics, track industry trends, and explore potential growth avenues.
- Enhance brand visibility through participation in trade shows, seminars, and events, representing the company with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Marketing degree or equivalent business qualification.
- A background or interest in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or biology is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, particularly in market research and campaign development.
- Preferred experience in marketing technical products for research laboratories.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and product value propositions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within the Americas and occasionally to APAC and Europe.
